It's amazing to look back over the past year which all the changes and see the transformation. I can honestly say that I'm shocked, happy, blessed and truthfully in a better mental space than I ever had been in the past. We all have beauty somewhere in us and a amazing and wonderful form.

Natural vs. Glam

On the real though, real talk real... When I first started out with makeup there was a lot of blunder and all night sessions where I was testing new product along with techniques. Wow alot of looks let me tell you...If you are lucky I may share them with you... Cause you bet your ass I took pics. LOL... As i look back I just giggle...All a part of finding what works best. With that in mind, I want to share with you that during this course of time, I found that I started with more GLAM style looks, over the top colors, ombre blends on eye looks, dramatic cut creases, heavy contour cuts and shading as well as T zone highlighting and brow game... What did it do you may ask? Well, helped me find the above look you see... Soft foundation, warm cheeks with simple contour and bronzing. Simple nose shaping and highlighting along with a semi dark natural eye look softly smoked to the crease. This is my daily and get the most compliments about this. The key thing to remember in this is during the day, work or whatever, glam is not what is flattering and keeps people engaged... Yass let's not get it twisted, Glam will turn heads for sure hunny, but it's more of a shock and awe type of attention. Most of the time, it makes other women based on my observation feel threatened and makes it harder for other to approach you... It's intimidating to have mad makeup game on point all the time and be approachable... just facts. When you embrace something natural, you embody and empower others to want to do the same look, soft, classy and powerful. Message me if you would like to know more or check out my YT channel.

Embracing your features...softly with Style and Class!

Did you know that you can embrace your features with soft techniques which make you look more radiant and beautiful with less product rather than having to pound massive amounts of full coverage whatever to your face? There are some amazing products out there with some light to medium coverage which can achieve the same amazing radiance and beauty that those other products can do. IMO, this is a no brainer. I do this daily... simple routine of moisturize, great face primer by L. Mercier in the Radiance collection, and then foundation usually Maybelline Liquid Silk/Dream in my shade. Then soft eye looks with light tans, taupes, tapered browns and soft shimmer in the tear duct crease.. Easy light blush and bronzer touched kissingly soft with a highlighter from L. Mercier or ABH. Test your looks with less intensive products and you will be amazed how much lighter your face feels and the beauty just glows from you.!
